Projector gate sizes can vary. We have seen references to 0.380×0.284 in several projector manuals.
Super 16mm can also be found in 1.85:1 aspect ratio. Neither "Super" format is typically projected.
16mm is typically projected at a rate of 24 frames per second which is approximately 36 feet per second. 16fps and 18fps 16mm silent film exist but is much less common.
